A short walk from The Blake Hotel you will find the department stores of the Boulevard Haussmann, perfect for a chic shopping excursion. Take your time to admire the monumental facade of the Opera Garnier, only 5 minutes away, and take a pause on the terrace of the legendary Grand Café. The Rue de la Paix and the Place Vendôme, centre of French jewellery, aren't far away… Next up, the Jardin des Tuileries, with the Louvre and its masterpieces to your left. One visit isn't enough!

Before crossing over to the Left Bank, why not visit the Galeries du Palais Royal, whose arcades house superb fashion, interior design, and antique shops.

The  Champs-Élysées are waiting for you. You can get to them on foot by going through the Place de la Concorde, home to the former royal palace. Take a moment to have a look inside the Hôtel de la Marine, a magnificent palatial building that has become a museum.

You want to see everything, visit everything. There's so much to explore. Jump onto the metro (line 8) and in a few minutes you're on the Left Bank. In front of you you'll see the Invalides, with its majestic esplanade and Napoleon's tomb. From here you can walk to the famous Eiffel Tower (20 minutes from the hotel). And if you like culture, the permanent collections at the Musée d'Orsay are well worth the detour.

Just 20 minutes from The Blake Hotel, here you are on the steps of Notre-Dame Cathedral. You'll be able to see the Sainte Chapelle spire and will be impressed by the medieval enclosure of the Conciergerie.

Line 12 takes you to the Butte Montmartre. Here you can wander through the side streets, drink a coffee on the Place du Tertre surrounded by the easels set up here and there of artists and portrait painters. The Sacré-Cœur Basilica dominates the area. This is the Paris of the Roaring Twenties, where you follow in the footsteps of Aragon, the young Picasso, Modigliani and others who came from all over the world to be part of Montmartre's creative effervescence.

But there's still so much to discover. The Pantheon, the Latin Quarter, Montparnasse with its artistic history and the Buttes Chaumont will be on your itinerary when you next visit The Blake Hotel Paris Saint-Lazare.

Our concierge team are here to give you advice and help you organise your visits in Paris (reservations, maps, great places to visit, taxis, restaurants etc.)
